Strange Girl

Been so busy with family, a certain comic project, and the holidays I have'nt had any time to do some sketchin' so I figured I'd post some older stuff from the 'ol pic files. This was part of some samples I sent to work on a possible project with Rick Remender. The series was finished not too long ago so I'm sure he won't mind me posting this ......at least, I'm pretty sure he won't mind.....

A Timely comics guy from WWII . Invaders were some of the first comics I ever read and this guy with Cap and Union Jack just had the coolest costumes around......and yeah, I really use that pose too much...didn't even realize it...

I've been having serious computer problems and that's just one of MANY reasons I have'nt posted lately. So I just scanned a doodle page and some post-its from my work area. Not much, I know. I should have some things to show later......hopefully......

Drink and Draw

Well, it was the first Drink and Draw here in Phoenix, a good time was had by all. I'd like to take a moment to thank Ryan Cody for the invite. As you can see, being surrounded by all that talent inspired me to totally draw outside of my comfort zone. That's why you see something very rare from this blog; a Death Dealer and woman with sword!! ...I know..it's crazy....

Something for the AJ board...not entirely happy with this but learned some things in PS . I still have a ways to go concerning color. I will probably be re-doing this when I get some time...It amazes me how some people make coloring look so easy!

Yes , another art jumble post. I try to do these every week, mainly for the challenge of drawing things I would not usually do. It makes the blog a little more interesting(I hope!). I mean, how many times can I just draw scantily clad women with swords, right? ..........right?

Just posting some recent stuff. The Sith lady I did for Art Jumble, they picked a Star Wars thread not even realizing it was the 30 year anniversary! Check out History channel , they have a very cool show about the myths and themes used in Star Wars.

..Before I forget.....

I posted this 'Gentleman' on Art Jumble on the heroes and villians thread. These guys were in one of the best single episodes of Buffy....and that's saying something......of course , in that ep, you could'nt say ANYthing......heh..........I'm such a geek.....
